The Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP) is a key part of the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Division, encompassing Sliding Doors, Swing Doors, Security Entrance Control & Revolving Doors, and Airtight Doors. BSP is the division’s second-largest segment, with 7,000 employees and annual revenue of about €1.5 billion.

As Vice President & Head of Product Area Equipment within Pedestrian, you will lead the Product Units and oversee product development, launches, R&D, and product management. This role involves managing and optimizing one of the division’s fastest-growing global product areas, which generates over €600 million in turnover. Reporting directly to the global Head of Business Segment Pedestrian and serving as a member of the Segment Management Team, you will play a vital role in our organisation.

Reporting: Head of Business Segment Pedestrian.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Head up the Product Area Equipment´s Management Team, which includes PU Sliding Doors, PU Swing Doors, PU Security Entrance Control & Revolving Doors, PU Airtight Doors, Shared Technologies and Installation.
  • Overall P&L responsibility >600 M€ (in a matrix) with a Headcount of >550 employees.
  • Define and execute the strategy for the PA Equipment. Drive growth, profitability, operational excellence and continuous improvement of the Product Area.
  • Set targets and follow KPIs. Continue to develop a culture of continuously improved competitiveness in product offerings.
  • Work to improve internal efficiency and processes, and ensure an effective, accountable, motivated organization that focuses on our strategy of being a product-driven organization with customer focus.


What we are looking for:

  • Proven Executive – Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience with P&L responsibility, combined with strong general management capability, solid exposure to manufacturing and supply chain.
  • Industry Experience – Exposure to industrial/equipment/manufacturing industries with a proven track record of delivering commercial and business results.
  • Product & Innovation – Deep understanding of building, developing, and optimizing a global product-driven business. Passion for product innovation and driving cutting-edge solutions to market.
  • Team Builder & Coach – Skilled in developing winning teams through analytics, follow-up, and motivational leadership.
  • Change Driver – Experienced in leading improvement initiatives and managing transformation in complex organizations.
  • Global Perspective – Background in decentralized, international, multifunctional organizations.
