The ASSA ABLOY CI Polaris Sliding Chiller is a robust sliding door developed for use in the food industry, where large openings and reliable climate control are essential. The door provides a full seal around the opening, helping to prevent unwanted energy loss and maintain a stable temperature within the space. The system can be configured to match specific project needs. It is available with options such as a mounted rail system or an integrated access door for personnel, depending on the layout and workflow of the facility.
The ASSA ABLOY CI Polaris Sliding Chiller is supplied as a complete unit, including an installation frame, sill and aluminium rail construction. The rail system is designed with an indentation that supports smooth operation and contributes to an airtight closing function.
The door leaf is built from insulated panels with a total thickness of 80 mm. Each panel is enclosed in galvanized steel on both sides, coated with a protective polyester finish, and finished with a stainless-steel edge. A sealing rubber runs around the entire perimeter to support consistent closure. The door also includes a protective bumper as standard, offering additional resistance in high-traffic environments.
