Smooth and Safe Docking Performance
This model operates through a fully hydraulic system that ensures a smooth transition between the loading bay and vehicle. As the platform lifts, the swing lip extends outward and settles gently onto the truck bed. Once loading or unloading is complete, the lip retracts automatically as the leveller returns to dock height. The hydraulic power unit is mounted on the rear frame to reduce vibration, while dual lift cylinders enhance overall stability and ensure safe operation for both personnel and equipment.
Flexible Lip Designs for Various Docking Conditions
The DL6211S comes with a standard 400-millimetre steel lip featuring an 80-millimetre bevel, ensuring precise and secure vehicle contact. For operations where vehicle positioning or dock height may vary, the leveller can be fitted with different lip profiles to suit each application. A tapered lip improves contact with misaligned vehicles, a straight lip is ideal for vehicles positioned at or below dock level, and a bent lip allows for smooth transitions when the vehicle bed sits above or below the dock. These options provide optimal performance and safety across diverse loading situations.
Dimensions, Capacity and Technical Details
The DL6211S is available in lengths of 2000, 2500 or 3000 millimetres and widths of 2000 or 2200 millimetres. It supports a load capacity of up to 100 kN (10-tonne), making it suitable for intensive use in high-volume facilities. The vertical working range extends 270 millimetres both above and below dock level, accommodating a wide variety of vehicle types. The platform is constructed from 8-millimetre S355 steel, reinforced with 8/10-millimetre sections in critical zones for extra strength. It operates on a 400-volt three-phase supply, with a 230-volt option available, and uses a 1.5-kilowatt motor. The hydraulic system performs efficiently within temperatures ranging from minus fifteen to plus sixty degrees Celsius. The leveller is fully compliant with the EN 1398 European standard for dock levellers, ensuring safety and quality assurance.
Durable Finishes and Corrosion Protection
To extend its lifespan and maintain performance under challenging conditions, the DL6211S is available with several surface finishes. Standard colours include RAL 5010 blue or RAL 9005 black, with other colour options available upon request. For environments exposed to high levels of moisture or salt, such as coastal areas, a hot-dip galvanised finish provides exceptional corrosion resistance. A slip-resistant polyurethane coating can also be applied to enhance safety, reduce operational noise and increase resistance to impact, wear and chemical exposure.
