Reliable airtight sealed swing door for negative temperature
The ASSA ABLOY CI VDM Swing Freezer is a hinged door developed for use in environments with temperatures as low as -25°C. Thanks to its high-quality finish, the door offers long-term durability and requires no ongoing maintenance.
Its completely smooth surface allows for easy cleaning. Combined with a food-safe coating, the door supports compliance with strict hygiene standards in cold storage environments.
The integrated closing system ensures a reliable airtight seal, helping to reduce energy loss by preventing airflow and moisture exchange between rooms.
The ASSA ABLOY CI VDM Swing Freezer is supplied as a complete unit, including the installation frame, sill and necessary fittings. Heat tape is built into both the frame and sill to prevent ice formation in extreme conditions.
The 120 mm thick door leaf features a galvanized steel plate and is finished with a protective polyester coating. A continuous sealing rubber surrounds the entire perimeter to maintain airtight closure.
An interior release mechanism is included as standard. Even if the door is locked from the outside, it can always be opened from the inside, ensuring safe use under all conditions.
