Robust freezer door system for intensive industrial use
The ASSA ABLOY CI Polaris Sliding Freezer is a robust sliding door developed for use in freezer environments down to -25°C. Designed for the food, distribution and transport sectors, this door combines reliable insulation with smooth operation. Its sliding movement cuts through the air efficiently, limiting the downward flow of cold air when opened and helping to preserve internal conditions.
The door seals the opening hermetically, significantly reducing energy consumption and supporting temperature stability in critical cold storage areas. Its excellent insulation properties and long service life make it well suited for intensive use in industrial freezing applications.
The ASSA ABLOY CI Polaris Sliding Freezer is supplied as a complete system, including an installation frame with integrated heat tape, a sill and an aluminium rail system featuring an indentation for airtight closure.
The 120 mm thick door leaf consists of modular, replaceable panels with a CFC-free polyurethane core. It is constructed without thermal bridges and finished in either stainless steel or coated steel, depending on project requirements. A stainless-steel edge reinforces the structure. A sealing rubber is fitted around the full perimeter to maintain airtightness, and a stainless-steel bumper is included for additional protection in high-traffic areas.
