What you would do as our Technical Engineer
As a Technical Engineer, you’ll be a key member of our technical team, helping to deliver outstanding support and drive product excellence.
You would also:
• Provide on-site and telephone technical support for customers and colleagues.
• Offering expert technical assistance to customers and colleagues via phone and on-site visits.
• Diagnosing and resolving installation and performance issues in the field.
• Supporting product testing at customer locations and at our in-house test centre in Daventry.
• Contributing to the development and refinement of new and existing products.
• Creating clear and accurate technical documentation and installation guides.
• Collaborating with Sales Managers to introduce new products to customer operations.
• Travelling to customer sites, covering the Midlands to the South Coast, with occasional UK-wide travel.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a solid technical background with practical, hands-on experience.
• Has confidence in using hand and power tools effectively.
• Has a good understanding of fenestration standards and testing procedures.
• Has strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers.
• Has a positive, energetic attitude and a drive to deliver high-quality results.
• Is flexible to travel and stay away from home when required.
• Has a full, valid UK driving licence.
