Manager, Distribution Channel

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Regional Distribution Channel Manager. The Distribution Channel Manager drives market growth through strong distributor partnerships, branch-level brand stewardship, and effective sales enablement. This role combines distributor relationship management, structured training (both in Tulsa HQ and in the field), portfolio-based selling, and consistent project follow-through to maximize channel performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Distributor Management

  • Serve as the branch-level brand ambassador for Ameristar and Jerith; track and improve brand health metrics such as NPS, complaint resolution, and service performance.
  • Lead quarterly Branch Business Reviews and semiannual Regional Business Reviews, using standardized reporting to monitor performance.
  • Develop tailored communications for key accounts, including launches, promotions, training updates, and project follow-ups.
  • Map distributor organizational structures and build multilevel relationships to accelerate decisions and unlock growth opportunities.

2. Training & Enablement

  • Plan and deliver recurring training at Tulsa HQ; coordinate agendas, plant tours, and role-specific curriculum.
  • Conduct field-based onboarding and skill development based on branch hiring cycles.
  • Deliver standardized learning follow-ups and workshops covering product knowledge, tools (e.g., COPS), order management, and customer service.

3. Sales Execution

  • Promote full-portfolio adoption, value-based selling, and cross-sell/upsell strategies across distributor branches.
  • Identify process gaps across communication, ordering, logistics, and requests; implement best-practice playbooks and monitor adherence.
  • Conduct quarterly market visits and partner with Market Developers to support local execution, coaching, and feedback loops.

Requirements

  • Outside distribution sales experience preferred, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven success in outside sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Travel required: ~40%, including regional and overnight trips.
