About the Role

 

We are looking for a Production Team Member to join our Austral Monsoon business based in Carole Park Qld.

 

In this role you will produce high quality timber and metal work within commercial industries. Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to operating standards and instructions, in line with health and safety practices and legislation.

 

Product Assembly / Responsibilities

  • Review product manual and documentation, and become familiar with the assembly and manufacturing process  
  • Use tools to shape and trim them down to appropriate size
  • Operate assembly machinery to assemble large products
  • Operate machinery to press, trim and shape material
  • Working in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation
  • Record and report details of defective goods
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations

 

Key Position Criteria

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Ability and willingness to follow direction as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square, operate hand and power tools.
  • Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specification.

 

 About You

  • Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • The ability to read technical drawings and plans
  • Strong focus in Work, Health and Safety
  • Excellent attention to detail and be able to follow tasks and directions
  • The ability to work as part of a team and be eager to learn
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
