Human Resources Manager

Amarr (a part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions), is on the search for a strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Mocksville, NC, where you’ll serve as a trusted partner to plant leadership and drive HR initiatives that support operational success and employee engagement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with the Plant Manager to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Lead local HR operations including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
  • Champion a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Advise leadership on HR policies, employment law, and performance management.
  • Drive employee engagement, training programs, and retention strategies.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and lead investigations and corrective actions.
  • Oversee communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Monitor local market trends to recommend competitive pay strategies.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR and training teams to deliver impactful learning programs.
  • Organize employee events and recognition initiatives to strengthen morale and culture.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
  • Experience in manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments preferred.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel skills highly valued).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
