Ceco Door, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking to add a Human Resources Generalist to our team based in Milan, Tennessee. This is an onsite position who will report to the Human Resources Manager.

What would you do as our Human Resources Generalist?
You will play an integral role within the HR Team and be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions to foster a positive, collaborative, productive and inclusive workplace. You will serve as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring clear communication and consistent application of policies. Additionally, help drive engagement, maintain accurate records, support training and development, as well as assist with process improvement initiatives.
You Would Also:
- Foster a positive work environment by maintaining a regular presence on the manufacturing floor and communicating with employees and managers to build rapport, promote well-being, boost morale and retention
- Champion a best-in-class onboarding experience by conducting touchpoints throughout the year, analyzing feedback, and implementing improvements
- Serve as an employee resource on HR policies, all EAP and employee benefit offerings; promote awareness through various communication channels.
- Support employee experience initiatives and engagement touchpoints throughout the year
- Address employee concerns by gathering relevant information, researching solutions, recommending appropriate actions, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain personnel files and HR records in compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Coordinate and process employee status changes, ensuring timely updates and compliance
- Champion attendance management, assist with development initiatives, and help coordinate employee survey and incentive programs
- Assist in the annual ASSA ABLOY employee survey, including communication of results, action planning, and progress tracking.
- Assist in managing employee incentive programs, such as the employee referral initiative.
- Assure compliance with federal, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
- Other projects and assignments, as assigned.
The Skills and Experience You would Bring:
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or operational environment
- Previous experience working with an HRIS platform such as SAP, ADP, etc.
- Knowledge of employee benefit programs such as Health, EAP, 401(k), etc.
- Knowledge of leave programs (STD, LTD, FMLA), attendance tracking, and employee benefits
- Previous experience with absence tracking systems and attendance policies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong organizational, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to handle confidentiality with privileged information
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to confidentiality
- Ability to work flexible hours and support all shifts as needed
