Sr. Product Manager
The PFISTER FAUCETS Sr. Product Manager is responsible for planning, innovating, directing, and owning the company’s short and long-range product plans to drive overall growth for the Bath and Kitchen portfolios. This individual will lead product management and execution matters for the Kitchen or Bath segment, including innovative new product introductions and existing portfolio performance. Product decisions, specs, marketing strategies, and commercialization will be largely influenced via research and data analysis generated by and recommended by the Sr. Product Manager. We’re looking for an exceptional talent with proven success in developing strategic product marketing roadmaps through an incredible eye for style and design along with a passion for winning in the fashion plumbing space.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- (60%) - New Product Development (NPI)
- Conduct in-depth analysis of global user product usage to identify and understand user needs
- Develop and execute 3-5 year robust product roadmaps from understanding of market, channel and/or customer dynamics, product design and technology trends, and end user preferences and purchase drivers.
- Provide clear product and user experience requirements
- Leads cross-functional team (engineering, sourcing, supply chain, finance) through multiple on-going product development projects at various stages of development via milestone process.
- Collaborate with sales organizations to develop new business opportunities, product adjacencies, customers and markets.
- Development of NPI scope documents (preliminary financials, KPIs, timeline management, etc.)
- Annual supplier and factory trips
- Present and interact with senior level internal and external customers
- (20%) - Talent Development
- Supervises departmental staff of 1-2 employees, monitor performances, and evaluates departmental effectiveness.
- Deploys situational leadership to ensure group objectives are met, while providing room for the team’s personal contributions and growth.
- Actively participates in Performance Management, Individual Development Plan creation and Goal Planning as part of preparing the team for advancement and leadership within the organization.
- (10%) - Portfolio Maintenance
- Accountable for overall portfolio performance deliverables.
- Achieve new product introduction vitality and hurdle rate metrics.
- Responsible for sales & gross margin portfolio performance, pricing, P&L, asset management, etc.
- Support brand guidelines to ensure consistency, with specific influence on packaging, product images, merchandising, and collateral related to assigned projects.
- Facilitate product related materials for customer product collaboration, line reviews, and business reviews. Includes but not limited to product renderings, samples, associated market and trend details, mood boards, etc.
- Work with quality and brand to support installation workshops, videos, market research and related initiatives.
- Own product life cycle.
- (10%) – Business Processes
- Contribute to financial and business initiatives through established rhythms and assigned projects. Examples include sales and operations planning to improve forecast accuracy or inventory initiatives tied to working capital.
- Support the management of the on-line databases to ensure proper content (internal as well as customer websites).
- Manage product documentation process including mix management, product life cycle. Generate reports, tools as required.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Create impactful initiatives to drive the business
Education and Experience Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years in Product Management or Development, Marketing, and/or Sales with a history of escalating responsibility and track record of results.
- Minimum 5+ years managing people.
- Ideal candidates will have experience in the plumbing category.

Work Environment:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Hybrid work in our Lake Forest, CA Headquarter office at least 3 days/week.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed – up to 20%.
Pay Range: $139,986 to $219,978.
This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
