Financial Controller ME
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting directly to ME CFO, fully support strategic financial goals of the region and deputise for CFO when required

Take ownership in preparing the consolidated financial statements for actuals, forecast and plan
-
Audit Management, support preparation of statutory accounts audit materials and deliver Internal Audit actions
-
Custodian of corporate governance and assist in developing and implementing delegated authority matrix
-
Assist CFO in developing and improving localised financial policies and procedures.

Support the P&L owners and CFO with preparation of budgeting, forecasting & financial analysis
-
Support the P&L owners and CFO in implementing cost control and reduction initiatives
-
Razor sharp focus on cash and develop cash reporting and cash forecasting processes
-
Improve and modernize accounting processes
-
Implement seamless procedures to meet financial KPIs
-
Coordinate fixed assets and inventory reporting
-
Material Management, improve inventory quality and cycle counting procedures
-
Support on Tax fillings
-
In cooperation with IT, continuously improve ERP data consistency and processes
-
Support the local finance team in reviewing the balance sheets monthly
-
Improve transaction booking processes
-
Ensure a compliant and accurate revenue recognition policy is enforced and adhered to
-
Maintain banking relationships and take ownership of treasury requirements both internally and with lenders including issuance of bank guarantees, LCs etc.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance or equivalent
-
Chartered accountant with globally recognised accounting qualification
-
5-10 years’ experience in equivalent industries and Middle East region
-
Excellent market understanding
-
Excellent negotiation skills
-
Excellent Financial Analysis Skills
-
Ability to work under pressure, manage expectations and meet deadlines

Result oriented
-
Arabic is highly recommended, fluency in English is a must.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office platform
-
Excellent knowledge of best-in-class ERPs, Knowledge of MS Navision and Hyperion HFM recommended

Hands-on attitude

Ability to work in multi-cultural environments with high diversity
