1. Can you tell us about your journey from student to ASSA ABLOY employee?

The first time I met with ASSA ABLOY was at the MEKKA student fair. I applied for a summer job and spent the summer doing a mini project. Later, I met with ASSA ABLOY again at the ARKAD student fair while looking for thesis opportunities. Although there wasn’t a perfect match available, they created a tailored project for me.

I then joined the graduate program, where I got the opportunity to explore different roles and, through that, discover where I belonged in the organization. After two years of traveling and learning, I chose to continue working in development in Landskrona.

2. What did you study, and what is your role today?

I studied an MSc in Engineering Mathematics with a specialization in systems and signals. Today, I’m the product owner for app development in ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems.

3. What would you tell students who are thinking about applying for a position with us?

Apply, just do it! ASSA ABLOY is a gigantic organization with endless possibilities. Becoming a part of the ASSA ABLOY family was an easy choice for me.
