FSSC Process Lead (General Ledger & Tax)


Job Purpose:

  • Support FSSC Process Controller in China FSSC migration projects
  • Act as FSSC Continuous Improvement (CI) Subject Matter Expert.  Develop KPI measurements & targets and drive continuous process improvement projects
  • Develop FSSC operation procedures and ensure effective execution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Process Controller for FSSC migration projects, fixed process gaps and define resolving solution in terms of baseline set to ensure end-to-end process smoothly
  • Set baselines and define process KPI measurements as basis for continuous improvement in end-to-end processes for GL & Tax function.
  • To implement control mechanism and monitor improvement sustainability / quantify benefits.
  • Initiate & lead continuous improvement events as a subject matter expert.  Empower FSSC operational staff appropriately and implement improvements solutions. Ability to lead project / handle issues by BU in terms of each program which cross FSSC other function teams
  • Deep dive analysis to identify and select root cause / non-value added activities for elimination.  Implement solution or automation tool to streamline business processes
  • Lead ERP Development program to implement automation to decrease manual operation. As review owner for delivered reports to ensure data accuracy and timeless
  • Leverage best practices gained through CI activities to other activities to achieve synergies and standardisations
  • Build up and maintain good business relationship with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Escalate issues appropriately.  Perform other tasks and projects as assigned
  • Lead with a strong integrity and compliance mindset

Position Requirement:

  • Strong business ethics, personal qualities of integrity & credibility
  • Good communication (spoken and written in both English & Chinese)
  • Bachelor's degree and above in Accounting, Finance or Business Studies
  • 6+ years finance experience with minimum 2+ years relevant FSSC supervision experience in MNC
  • Demonstrated success cases in process improvement or automation with ability to resolve complex process issues and streamline processes
  • Proficient in IFRS and China Accounting Standards
  • Be familiar with ERP system, Microsoft Dynamic AX is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Prior experience in Lean Improvement or Six Sigma project in FSSC environment is a plus
