PLM MCAD Manager



The MCAD manager will be a key element of the COE team, in charge of:

  • Definition, development, implementation and maintenance of standardized MCAD business processes (including documentation) as well as ensuring adoption (e.g. through training of key business partners)
  • Be a mentor and coach for our MCAD community
  • Support the transition to a Model Based Definition (MBD) defining working methodologies based on industry best practices
  • Work with newly acquired business units to understand the way they work and how they can adopt the processes and solutions defined by each division
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the blueprint training material, making sure that processes and solution are properly documented



Must Have to succeed in this role

  • 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry with one of the major CAD systems (NX, Creo, Catia, Solidworks)
  • Experince as change agent within the organization to drive digitization initiatives, this role requires outstanding communication skills, and experience applying active listening, TEDS (tell me, explain to me, describe to me and show me) or similar methodologies
  • Be able to engage with R&D Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to understand their processes and requirements.
  • Good negotiation skills, able to lead business through discussions and workshops and be able to uncover key use cases.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Open to sporadic travels in our key locations (worldwide)


Nice to have, elements that can boost your profile

  • Functional and technical knowledge of Teamcenter modules, Change Management best practices, configuration management, MCAD data management/SWIM, Workflow configurations and Customizations.
  • Experience working with Solidworks
  • Experience with transformation initiatives in the MBD domain
  • Experienced in working with an agile methodology
  • Experience in working with Virtual teams located in different time zones



Working Location


Stockholm is the primary working location for this position; however, we will consider also candidates that matches, or exceed, the job criteria and are located within the European Community area.
