Job description
We are looking for a hands-on Operational Excellence Engineer to drive measurable improvements in factory performance.
You will work closely with Production Engineering, Production, Quality and R&D, translating strategy into concrete shopfloor actions. You take ownership of improvement projects end-to-end and represent the factory in global operational excellence forums. You will join a young, collaborative technical team with a strong hands-on mindset.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the factory Hoshin plan
- Identify and implement end-to-end operational improvements
- Lead improvement projects with technicians and operational teams
- Ensure delivery on scope, timing, cost and quality
- Reduce recurring costs (energy, downtime, maintenance, rework)
- Support teams with Lean, structured problem solving and visual management (SQDC)
- Define, implement and sustain efficient ways of working
Profile
- Ambitious, hands-on team player with a continuous improvement mindset
- Able to influence, motivate and challenge others constructively
- Comfortable working both strategically and on the shopfloor
- Result-oriented, proactive and ownership-driven
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in engineering or a technical field
- 3–5 years of Lean / CI experience in a discrete manufacturing environment
Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business awareness
- Basic understanding of ERP, KPIs and financial concepts
- Affinity with maintenance, facilities or energy topics
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Basic proficiency in French
