We are excited to add a Frames Line Specialist to our team. This hands-on role could be based out of our Midwest regional manufacturing facility or Service Center based in Carol Stream, Illinois or any of the following Service Centers: Austell, Georgia, Easton, Pennsylvania, Orlando, Florida, Mesquite, Texas or our Curries brand located in Mason City, Iowa.

What would you do as our Manufacturing Process Specialist – Frames?
You will lead operational excellence across our hollow metal frame production lines. In this multi-site role, you’ll coach teams, implement best practices, and help align how we build frames company-wide.
You would also:
- Train operators, leads, and managers on safe, efficient frame line machinery use (brake press, CNC punch, welders, shears, etc.)
- Lead continuous improvement projects that boost productivity, safety, and product quality
- Support installation of new machinery and ensure all systems are production-ready
- Implement lean practices like line balancing, Takt time, and ShopGrid across multiple facilities
- Troubleshoot operational issues and work with cross-functional teams to drive long-term solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and local leadership to align best practices company-wide
- Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives and support cost savings goals
- Participate in a safe and harmonious working environment.
- Assure compliance with federal, provincial, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
- Perform other responsibilities as required.
What we are looking for:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing or metal fabrication experience (frame production a plus)
- Strong mechanical skills and confidence with production machinery
- Leadership experience as a Trainer, Team Lead, or Supervisor
- Possess a LEAN manufacturing mindset with knowledge of efficiency tools (Takt time, TPM, hour-by-hour boards, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, travel up to 60%, and adapt to multiple plant cultures
- Experience with systems like ShopGrid, ERP, or MES systems preferred
