Smooth and Reliable Operation

The DL6221TA is powered by an electro-hydraulic system and controlled by a semi-automatic unit. During operation, the dock leveller is raised, the telescopic lip extends, and the platform gently lowers onto the vehicle bed. After loading or unloading, the lip retracts automatically, and the platform returns to its resting position.

Key design features such as a fixed hydraulic unit, dual lift cylinders, and robust telescopic lip guidance ensure smooth operation with reduced vibration and minimal maintenance. Safety-props on both sides provide additional security during servicing.

Flexible Sizing and Load Capacity

Available with platform lengths of 2000 mm, 2450 mm, and 3000 mm, and widths up to 3750 mm, the DL6221TA can accommodate a wide range of vehicles. It supports a load capacity of 100kN (10 tonnes) and offers a vertical working range of up to 415 mm above and 430 mm below dock level, making it suitable for various vehicle heights and docking scenarios.

Advanced Lip and Platform Design

The standard steel telescopic lip extends up to 500 mm, with options for 1000 mm extensions and tapered designs to ensure precise docking, even when vehicles are misaligned. A bevelled 80 mm edge allows for a smoother transition from dock to vehicle, reducing stress on both equipment and operators.

For improved safety and comfort, optional polyurethane coatings can be applied to the platform and lip, providing slip resistance (R11 rating) and noise reduction while resisting chemical and thermal impacts.

Surface and Corrosion Protection

The DL6221TA comes in standard painted finishes (RAL 5010 blue or RAL 9005 black), with optional RAL colours or hot-dip galvanisation for increased corrosion resistance. Paint classes range from C2M to C5-I, ensuring suitability for rural, industrial, or coastal environments.

Safety and Connectivity

Built-in safety features include emergency stop functions, warning stripes, toe guards, and a free-floating platform position. Optional integration with ASSA ABLOY Insight provides remote monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance alerts, allowing facilities to maximise uptime and performance.

Accessories and Service Support

The DL6221TA can be paired with a full range of docking accessories, including buffers, wheel chocks, traffic lights, dock lights, and the ASSA ABLOY Dock-IN system for guided vehicle positioning.

With tailored service agreements under ASSA ABLOY Maintain and Optimize, customers benefit from preventive maintenance, real-time monitoring, and responsive support to ensure consistent reliability.
