Designed for Controlled Cleanroom Environments
The ASSA ABLOY RR300 Cleanroom Door is purpose-built for medium-sized openings in controlled environments such as pharmaceuticals, medical facilities, and electronics manufacturing. Its fast operation limits air exchange and pressure loss, reducing the load on filtration systems and improving energy efficiency. The door’s airtight seal helps maintain cleanroom conditions, with dimensions up to 3,500 mm wide and high.
Safety, Control, and Installation
Safety features include an electrical safety contact edge and door line photocells that prevent closure when objects are detected. An optional pre-running photocell and contactless Magic-Switch allow hands-free, hygienic opening. Integrated traffic lights in the side columns provide clear operational signals.
The control unit, built into the side column, offers a clear display and user-friendly keypad for easy operation and diagnostics. The frequency converter control system supports adjustable speeds and voltages. A reliable geared brake motor can be installed on either side. An optional UPS battery ensures operation during power failures.
The door curtain is made of clear PVC with reinforced fabric strips in various RAL colours, certified for cleanroom use by the Fraunhofer Institute. Narrow side columns and sealed cable guides minimise particle accumulation and make cleaning straightforward.

Designed for medium-sized openings, the RR300 Clean combines high-speed operation with near-airtight sealing. Rapid opening and closing help minimise air exchange, limit pressure drop, and reduce the burden on cleanroom filtration systems—improving energy efficiency and long-term operational costs.
Hygienic Operation by Design
The door supports strict hygiene protocols with features like the Contactless Safety Edge, which prevents accidents even at high speeds. An optional contactless actuator allows users to open the door with a simple wave of the hand, avoiding direct contact with door surfaces and reducing the risk of particle transfer.

The RR300 Clean’s smooth-surface design and integrated cable guide simplify cleaning and reduce potential contamination points. Optional features such as built-in traffic lights improve operational visibility and workflow control.
