Job Summary
We are seeking a Cash Application Supervisor to oversee the cash application process, ensuring accurate and timely posting of incoming payments. This role involves managing a team, resolving discrepancies, collaborating with finance teams, and optimizing cash flow. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience with financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Cash Application Specialists
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer payments
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable/Collections, and Customer Service teams
- Analyze payment trends and identify process improvement opportunities
- Generate reports and maintain accurate financial records
- Meet month-end closing deadlines and provide reports to senior management
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with company policies
- Support special finance-related projects as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Fluent in English.
- 1-2 years in supervisory experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Cash Application.
- AA/AS degree in accounting preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- JDE/SAP/ERP experience preferred but not required
