Job description

We are looking for a hands-on Operational Excellence Engineer to drive measurable improvements in factory performance.

You will work closely with Production Engineering, Production, Quality and R&D, translating strategy into concrete shopfloor actions. You take ownership of improvement projects end-to-end and represent the factory in global operational excellence forums. You will join a young, collaborative technical team with a strong hands-on mindset.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and drive the factory Hoshin plan
  • Identify and implement end-to-end operational improvements
  • Lead improvement projects with technicians and operational teams
  • Ensure delivery on scope, timing, cost and quality
  • Reduce recurring costs (energy, downtime, maintenance, rework)
  • Support teams with Lean, structured problem solving and visual management (SQDC)
  • Define, implement and sustain efficient ways of working

Profile

  • Ambitious, hands-on team player with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Able to influence, motivate and challenge others constructively
  • Comfortable working both strategically and on the shopfloor
  • Result-oriented, proactive and ownership-driven

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in engineering or a technical field
  • 3–5 years of Lean / CI experience in a discrete manufacturing environment

 

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with business awareness
  • Basic understanding of ERP, KPIs and financial concepts
  • Affinity with maintenance, facilities or energy topics
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Basic proficiency in French
