About The Role
We are looking for a proven results focussed Production Supervisor to lead the operations of our manufacturing plant based in Forest Glen QLD.
The role covers all aspects of the operations, including safety, people management, process management, quality, productivity, technical, maintenance, continuous improvement and KPI reporting. In this highly dynamic and challenging role, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Manag the day to day activities of the Operations function including production, maintenance and quality
- Provide leadership with exceptional planning and organising skills to ensure critical targets and deadlines are met
- Provide efficient management, oversight and review of all resources, including personnel, technical and material
- Forecast labour requirements and provide recommendations and changes to equipment, work layout, production methods and material handling procedures
- Developing high performing teams with a focus on ‘continuous improvement’
- Driving a ‘safety first’ culture with open communication ensuirng best practice and compliance across the operations team.
The ideal candidate will be results oriented with a hands on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. You will bring strong technical knowledge; operating with a high level of structure, energy and autonomy. You will have demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on coaching and developing the team to be the best they can be to ensure the consistent achieviment of production and quality.
You must be:
- Experience from a production and manufacturing related industry
- A proven leader, self-driven, resilient, and want to succeed and own the accountability of the role
- Motivated to grow and develop yourself and your team and overall site capability
- Able to engage broadly and multi-task
