Human Resources Manager
Amarr (a part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions), is on the search for a strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Mocksville, NC, where you’ll serve as a trusted partner to plant leadership and drive HR initiatives that support operational success and employee engagement.

What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the Plant Manager to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Lead local HR operations including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and compliance.
- Champion a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Advise leadership on HR policies, employment law, and performance management.
- Drive employee engagement, training programs, and retention strategies.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and lead investigations and corrective actions.
- Oversee communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Monitor local market trends to recommend competitive pay strategies.
- Collaborate with corporate HR and training teams to deliver impactful learning programs.
- Organize employee events and recognition initiatives to strengthen morale and culture.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments preferred.
- Solid understanding of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO).
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll platforms, and Microsoft Office (Excel skills highly valued).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
