Essential Duties

  • Drive the industrialization of new RFID products (tags, reader stations and embedded electronics), from development phase to mass production.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and optimization of existing production lines and products to achieve operational excellence and profitability.
  • Support and manage the transfer of products, technologies, and production lines between different facilities.
  • Collaborate closely with HID Textile Services dedicated manufacturing facilities to monitor their production activities, and technical performances, and follow Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Plan and coordinate the steps needed to adjust manufacturing capacity based on sales forecasts.
  • Developing effective industrialization roadmap and associated budgets to ensure rapid, controlled qualification and ramp-up of products.
  • Benchmarking and selecting optimal materials, processes, suppliers, and technical alternatives to maintain product competitiveness.
  • Lead projects for selected products through industrialization and manufacturing transfer.
  • Identifying and implementing new manufacturing processes and methods, ensuring their successful deployment.
  • Establishing and implementing robust testing methods and tools.

 

Primary Duties

For existing products, the Industrialization Leader will ensure continuous improvement by:

  • Managing the entire product life cycle up to obsolescence.
  • Optimizing qualified manufacturing processes to achieve high yield and profitability.
  • Overseeing changes to processes, products, and production lines.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to equipment and processes.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, Electronics, or related field.
  • 7+ years in industrialization or manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in project leadership.
  • Proven track record in managing complex industrialization projects in electronics or RFID.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken for technical communications and document creation.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • RFID technology, UHF preferentially.
  • Experience in Production Environment Methodology.
  • Electronic devices Micro Packaging, Technical quality/reliability.
  • Experience with global supply chain and outsourced manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

 

Work Environment 

  • Employees works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
