Role Summary
As Sales Manager Sweden for the Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP), you hold full operational responsibility for all new sales activities within BSP Sweden, as well as additional Security sales into BSP Norway. You are accountable for achieving the equipment topline targets and ensuring that pre-calculated contribution margins meet the agreed levels. You lead and inspire a team of 14 sales professionals, guiding them to achieve high performance and excellence.
Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP) promote and sell products and services for swinging, sliding and revolving doors. We are a global segment have both product development, manufacturing, sales, installation and service. The Swedish organization consists of approx. 150 people and has a turnover of 400 MSEK. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems and the Pedestrian segment in Sweden consists of approximately 150 employees.
You will report directly to our Business Unit Manager Sweden. Preferred location is in Landskrona/Malmö.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve equipment sales topline and growth targets in line with defined KPIs.
- Deliver pre-calculated contribution margins according to KPI benchmarks.
- Meet or exceed all additional KPI targets.
- Lead and develop all personnel within BSP Sweden Equipment Sales, including Sales, Support, and potential managerial roles.
- Develop and execute strategic and operational sales plans for equipment sales.
- Report actual results and forecasts on schedule, including action plans and performance analysis.
- Actively contribute to the overall business development of BSP Sweden, collaborating closely with the management team.
- Build and implement budget and strategic plans for equipment sales, covering organization, marketing, execution, customer satisfaction, and follow-up.
- Drive and promote the ASSA ABLOY culture and values – Empowerment, Innovation, and Integrity.
- Participate in and share KPI results within global group matrix meetings.
- Team of 14 fte.
Key Competencies
- Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Demonstrated success in executing equipment sales strategies and plans, particularly within the building or industrial goods sectors.
- Familiarity with IT, automation, and related service businesses is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and planning skills.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working within an industrial matrix organization.
- Skilled in building strong relationships with customers and partners.
Requirements
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding topline sales targets with consistent growth in contribution margin (CM).
- Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience within the building or industrial goods industry.
- Experience in a manager-of-managers role is highly valued.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience focused on organizational development and change management.
- Strong understanding of Swedish laws and regulations related to the building industry.
Education
- University degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
