Order Management and Strategic Systems Analyst

As an Order Management Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for developing innovative and strategic solutions to enhance Order Entry (OE) productivity across all AEHG brands. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Production, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales teams to address time-sensitive challenges impacting both internal and external stakeholders. The specialist will support the Manager in executing front-end initiatives and lead the entry and testing of orders for upcoming JDE implementations, ensuring timely issue resolution.

 

This position will report directly to the Manager of Order Entry & E-Business and will sit onsite full-time in Berlin, CT.


What you will be doing 

 

  • Analyze daily KPI reports and take proactive measures to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Address factory inquiries and contribute to the development of sustainable solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of JDE system implementations and enhancements.
  • Train Order Entry team members on new processes and system updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve performance metrics through system tools such as DFIS, SharePoint, and Trello.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, providing actionable feedback and recommendations.
  • Respond to order-related inquiries from Order Entry teams in AAG, Monroe, and New Haven via DFIS.
  • Manage and resolve COMET requests, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.

 

What we are looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with ERP systems, preferably JDE.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities and minimal need for supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using web-based applications such as SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated initiative and follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet business demands.
