EDI Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EDI Supervisor to lead our team of EDI Specialists. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including hiring, training, and supporting team members, while ensuring the accurate and timely processing of EDI orders across assigned customers and brands. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance productivity, and expand EDI capabilities across all AEHG brands.

 

This position will report directly to the Manager of Order Entry & E-Business and will sit onsite full-time in New Haven, CT.


What you will be doing 

 

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of EDI Specialists, including performance evaluations and professional development.
  • Manage the end-to-end processing of EDI orders for assigned customers and brands.
  • Oversee testing and implementation of EDI initiatives, ensuring successful integration and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve order flow efficiency.
  • Analyze department reports and metrics to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the Manager and Business Process EDI team to drive productivity improvements and increase EDI adoption.
  • Provide training on new processes and tools to ensure team readiness and compliance.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, offering insights and feedback on EDI performance and opportunities.
  • Document EDI processes to support onboarding and knowledge sharing.
  • Support efforts to reduce Customer Contact Forms (CCFs) and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and accountability.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships across departments and with external partners.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with web-based applications such as SharePoint.
  • Willingness to take initiative and follow through on tasks independently.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
