What you would do as our Project Management Officer EMEIA
As a Project Management Officer (PMO) for EMEIA IT, you will be the driving force behind project excellence, aligning initiatives with business strategy, optimizing resource use, ensuring governance, and fostering collaboration across regions.
You would also:
• Strategic alignment and Portfolio Management: Ensure strategic alignment and efficient delivery across EMEIA by managing the project portfolio, optimizing resources, and providing clear performance insights to support decision-making.
• Governance, Methodology & Project Support: Establish and maintain common project management standards, tools, and frameworks tailored to EMEIA IT needs. In addition, foster continuous improvement by promoting best practices, supporting project managers, and building a strong PM community. Moreover, proactively manage risks and issues to ensure smooth project execution and long-term success.
• Communication, Change & Knowledge Management: Drive clear, inclusive communication and change management across EMEIA IT by tailoring messages, maintaining knowledge bases, and ensuring effective information flow between regional and central teams.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, and is fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
• Has significant IT experience with team leadership responsibilities, proven track record in managing complex, global projects with minimal supervision and strong expertise in business and IT project management (AGILE, PRINCE2, etc.), process design, risk and change management.
• Is skilled in resource planning, benefits tracking, and financial oversight of programs with experience coaching project teams and building PMO capabilities.
• Has exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – persuasive, diplomatic, and solutions-oriented.
This role is ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, a hands-on approach, and a passion for building bridges between business and IT through efficient project delivery.
