About The Role
We are expanding our team and seeking a Technical & Sales Support Engineer to support our sales process and contribute to the successful execution of Electronic Access Control (EAC) projects. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional technical and sales support, directly aiding in the development of repeat business by offering seamless pre- and post-sales support to system integrators and locksmiths. This role will relieve the sales team from handling technical tasks, allowing them to focus on new business opportunities while ensuring superior and consistent service to our customers.


In this role, you will:

  • Support the Sales Process: Provide critical technical support to help successfully win and execute EAC projects, ensuring that the sales process runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Deliver Product Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for system integrators and locksmiths, both in-person and via video conference.
  • Design Access Control Systems: Work alongside the sales team to design customised and compliant Access Control solutions for project proposals.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer pre- and post-sale technical support, troubleshooting issues remotely and on-site as required.
  • Resolve Product & System Issues: Actively test and resolve technical product and system issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to projects.


About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years in technical support or sales support, preferably within IoT or smart security technologies. Experience with Electronic Access Control (EAC) products is a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to access control systems, both remotely and on-site.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work closely with sales teams to design systems and provide technical input, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project goals.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, particularly in delivering training and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, find root causes, and implement effective solutions quickly and efficientl
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and customer projects.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the sales process and post-sale support.
