BU Controller

We are one of the leading providers of residential garage door systems and industrial door solutions. 

With a strong focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, we are looking for a motivated and business-oriented Business Unit Controller (all genders) to strengthen our Finance team and support the continued growth of our Business Unit Normstahl Crawford. 

 

The Opportunity

 

As Business Unit Controller, you will act as a trusted finance partner to the General Manager and play a key role in driving business performance across the Nordic region. You will provide financial transparency, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to achieving our business objectives through insightful analysis, forecasting, and performance management. 

As an integral member of the BU Management Team, you will collaborate closely with Country Managers, local Finance teams, and regional stakeholders in an international matrix organization. 

 

Your Key Responsibilities

 

  • Partner closely with the Head of BU Normstahl Crawford on financial and strategic matters
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting activities across multiple entities
  • Deliver management reports, financial analyses, business insights, and performance KPIs.
  • Analyze monthly business results, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
  • Support Country Managers and local Finance teams in driving business performance
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide actionable recommendations
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support key decisions
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, investment evaluations, acquisitions, and restructuring projects
  • Drive continuous improvement and harmonization of reporting processes and financial structures across the region
  • Ensure compliance with Group reporting standards, financial policies, and internal control requirements

 

What We Are Looking For

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, or Finance roles
  • Experience working within an international and matrix-driven organization
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, management reporting, and business performance management

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
  • Ability to translate financial information into meaningful business recommendations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to influence and challenge business decisions constructively
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

 

Languages & Systems

 

  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Additional languages such as Swedish or German are considered an advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP and BI systems
  • Experience with HFM and Infor M3 is beneficial
