IT Business/Sales Analyst - 22-Month Contract

Great news! We’re currently seeking an IT Business/Sales Analyst to be based at our Vaughan office. This role is for a 22-month contract.
Job Summary
You’ll act as the crucial bridge between our business stakeholders and IT partners, analyzing processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring our systems evolve alongside our business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Business Objects reports and report schedules
- Maintain Power BI dashboards with the assistance of the divisional BI team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting improvements and enhancements
- Work with the Finance team to execute month end processes by providing and refining reporting
- L2 support for local JD Edwards E1 requests
- JDE Item Master maintenance.
- JDE Product Data Management: be responsible for item creation and management, data integrity, factory data update requests, Canadian data integrity maintenance, key system maintenance, etc.
- Analyze and document business processes and system requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enhancements.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications.
- Support testing, implementation, and evaluation of new systems and enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between business units, developers, and IT consultants.
- Assist in the development of documentation and training materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or computer studies
- Exposure to SAP Business Objects
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards
- 5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis (requirements gathering, software documentation, functional testing)
- JD Edwards E1 in a support or BA role
- Background and understanding of operational processes in a distribution environment

- Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting, and communicating with users
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, shared-services environment, across multiple divisions with a variety of operating environments, application software, tools and technologies.
