Human Resources Manager, Sales and Marketing

What you will be doing:

You will be a strategic HR partner, embedded within the business unit to provide tailored solutions to our national Sales and Marketing group and drive organizational success through its people. You will be responsible for combining a strategic perspective with operational understanding, acting as an employee champion and culture builder while also serving as a business advisor to leadership. 

You will deliver exceptional service and influence with regards to:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, offering insights and strategic solutions to people-related initiatives and challenges
  • Manage employee relations and foster a positive empowered work culture
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on sensitive Human Resource matters
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent, including workforce planning and performance management 
  • Assure alignment of HR initiatives, such as talent acquisition and retention, with overarching business objectives and company goals. 
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions
  • UHRIS systems as it relates to employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, annual performance reviews and succession planning
  •  Tracking HR data and analyzing trends
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales employees, nationally.
  • Understanding the business unit's financial position and market competition
  • Supporting payroll and benefit initiatives including open enrollment and ongoing employee enquiries and requests
  • Investigating employee issues and complaints
  • Ensuring legal compliance as it pertains to various states
  • Assist with various projects that span the division

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager preferred, ideally supporting a decentralized function such as sales, business development, etc.
  • Experience managing diverse HR activities across multiple geographic locations
  • Proven competence to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to influence, coach, and lead to achieve business outcomes. 
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels and adapt communication style to the audience. 
  • Superior problem-solving skills with an ability to identify issues and develop strategic solutions
  • Skills and abilities to manage multiple complex issues, prioritize projects, and oversee initiatives
  • Ability to maintain the utmost confidentiality with sensitive information and personal data
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and a commitment to safeguarding compliance standards and company values
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent skills transacting in an HRIS, preferably SuccessFactors
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel
