Director of Data & Analytics

This role will be responsible for overseeing data infrastructure, analytics, and reporting while ensuring the organization leverages data to optimize decision-making and enhance performance.
This position will be based at our Americas headquarters in New Haven, CT.
What you will be doing
Developing and implementing a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives. Championing a data-driven culture throughout the organization. You will be responsible for developing the roadmap to improve data maturity, enhance data quality, and drive data governance standards where none currently exist.
You will manage, mentor, and scale offshore and onshore data and analytics teams, ensuring high-quality output and alignment with business objectives, fostering collaboration between onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization. This will be achieved through partnering with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve processes and decision-making. The incumbent will be expected to collaborate within IT to optimize data infrastructure and architecture, ensure the adoption of best practices in data management, ETL processes, and cloud-based technologies and leverage Microsoft Fabric to streamline data integration, data management, and real-time analytics for improved decision-making.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data management best practices.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in SQL, Python, and data reporting and visualization tools (e.g., BusinessObjects, Power BI).
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data cloud platforms and capabilities.
- Knowledge of machine learning models and AI frameworks.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
