Great news! We are currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator that will be based at our Vaughan Headquarters. This role will be a 6-month contract.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of our marketing strategies. You will be responsible for managing our social media presence, coordinating events, and assisting with various marketing activities.
Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies as needed.
- Coordinate and manage events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and other promotional activities.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including designing templates, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
- Update the company website with minor changes and Digital Asset Management.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Support the marketing team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Key Competencies
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, event planning, or another relevant field.
- Proven experience in social media management, event coordination, and email marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Dynamics, and marketing software/tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with website management (Wix), Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Some lifting may be required, especially around set-up and take-down for events.
