Position Summary:

A Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and improving supply chain operations to ensure efficient procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The role involves gathering and interpreting data, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce costs, improve service levels, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and analyze data to identify root causes and trends. Publish reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend strategies to optimize stock availability.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and support sourcing decisions.
  • Develop forecasts and demand planning models.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Create reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, logistics, and sales teams to improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain best practices.

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, inventory control, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, procurement, or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
