Are you a hands-on factory assembler who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship? We’re seeking an experienced Factory Assembler to join our team and contribute their skills to producing high-quality products.
About the Role
As a Factory Assembler, you will be responsible for cutting profiles and building ADS door frames and automatic door operators as specified, ensuring all products meet our quality standards. You will also support the assembly of ancillary products as needed.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble operators as specified on the order form
• Cut aluminium profiles, beams, and pelmets when required
• Program operator controllers using the CT tool as standard and as specified
• Use online booking systems to despatch freight
• Assist in the spare parts warehouse when required, including restocking
• Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Notify the Warehouse Manager promptly of any possible schedule non-conformance or low stock levels
• Ensure adequate stock of build assemblies for production and spare parts
What You’ll Bring
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Proficiency with various power, hydraulic, and hand tools
• Basic computer skills and an understanding of databases (some data entry required)
• Working knowledge of online despatch systems
