What you would do as our Head of Sales

 

As Sales Manager Sweden for our Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP), you lead and inspire a team of 14 sales professionals, guiding them to achieve high performance and excellence. You provide both strategic and tactical direction to accelerate our business growth, helping team members reach their full potential while fostering a dynamic, success-driven environment.

Your focus is on driving sustainable business growth and profitability, ensuring that our products and related services meet the highest standards of quality. You build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with other departments and key ASSA ABLOY partners to ensure seamless cooperation and alignment.

Believing strongly in the voice of the customer, you nurture close relationships with our clients, identifying new opportunities and innovative sales strategies to expand revenue. A solid understanding of our business is advantageous, complemented by a strong affinity for technology.

 

Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP) promote and sell products and services for swinging, sliding and revolving doors.​​ We are a global segment have both product development, manufacturing, sales, installation and service. ​The Swedish organization consists of approx. 150 people and has a turnover of 400 MSEK.

You will report directly to our Business Unit Manager Sweden.

 

Preferred location is in Landskrona/Malmö.

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Strategic and operational responsibility for all new sales actions within local business unit BSP SE 
  • Responsible for both EQ Topline as well as pre calc. margins are according to decided levels.
  • Report actuals & forecast as per schedule with attached actions
  • Build budget and strategy plans for EQ sales including all elements from organization, marketing, execution, customer satisfaction and follow up etc.
  • You keep focus on our sales performance KPI’s and filling our pipeline with new projects and leads. Monthly sales and cost developments are followed closely, and improvement plans are proactively made when necessary. 
  • Bring the sales organization to the next level. You embrace the fast-changing environment, adapt and initiate new business models, technologies and connectivity
  • Drive culture development within BSP SE of ASSA ABLOY values
  • Active participation of the overall development of Business Unit BSP SE
  • Team of 14 fte.

 

 

The skills and experience you need

  • Min. 10 years of experience from sales within B-2-B - Building /Industrial goods industry
  • 5 years on a higher management level. Experience in Manager-over-Manager role is highly valued
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and budgets and a strategic approach to business planning.
  • Execution of equipment Sales actions/plans
    • Based on Building/Industrial goods business
    • in combination with IT & Automation functions
    • and related service business is a plus
  • Experience from industrial matrix-organization is required
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
  • A structured and decisive person in commercial projects and organizational development.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • An ambition and focus to grow professionally and interpersonally.
  • Strong numbers, planning and analytics skills
  • An academic degree (Work experience with executive education is an alternative)
  • Business fluent in Swedish & English
