Cloud SW Developer

Do you have a passion for cloud software development and IoT? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The Digital and Access Solutions (DAS) business segment within the EMEIA Division is looking for a Cloud Software Developer to join the Wireless Lock product unit in Stockholm, Sweden.

Here, you’ll thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of.

What would you do as a Cloud Software Developer

You would develop web applications for configuring and operating our wireless locks and systems. Your primary focus would be on cloud front-end development, while also contributing to back-end functionality.

You would be part of a cross-functional, agile software team that includes mobile and cloud developers, QA specialists, and a UX designer. Collaboration with our firmware team would be essential to understand device functionality and communication. Additionally, you would work closely with product management to support and enhance the cloud software application.

You would also:

  • Contribute to planning activities by analyzing requirements, creating specifications, and breaking down implementation work into epics and user stories.
  • Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
  • Participate in end-user testing activities.
  • Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies.

The skills and experience we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 2 years working with Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with backend development, preferably in Go (Golang), and familiarity with RESTful APIs and cloud service integrations.
  • Knowledge of test automation tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress, and experience with CI/CD practices using Git.
  • A background in Agile Scrum development and strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • A technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.

Ideally, you would have experience with several of the following: AWS development (e.g., Lambda, S3, CloudFront), headless CMS—preferably Sanity, AI tools like Cursor and Copilot for code development, and Agile methodologies such as SAFe.

You’re a proactive and open-minded individual who takes initiative and enjoys learning. As a natural problem solver, you focus on solutions rather than obstacles. You thrive in cross-functional teams, value collaboration, and are always ready to support others while also seeking help when needed. You share our belief in lean and agile principles and enjoy working in an environment where diverse expertise comes together to drive successful outcomes.
