As the Operations Program Manager, you will oversee the development and execution of large internal programs and initiatives covering products, processes, equipment, and infrastructure. This role supports global objectives and strategies for the Operation & Manufacturing Engineering organization and encompasses various activities, committees, systems, services, and solutions implemented and managed both centrally and coordinated across different Business Units (BUs). You will establish guidelines, policies, and processes for program management members and collaborate with other global and department leaders within the BUs. Your focus will be on bringing coordination, alignment, and accountability across various operational resources to ensure optimal service and support to the business’s priorities and needs. Additionally, you will foster a culture of commitment, collaboration, and information sharing in an international environment.

As our Operations Program Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

 

  • Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables
  • Ensuring cross-team and cross-program dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained
  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they meet company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines
  • Monitoring programs and provide reports and consolidated outlines to senior leadership
  • Analyzing program data, including project budgets, operating costs, risks, and resource allocation
  • Drafting new and improve existing project management office policies and processes
  • Building cohesion within the team and motivate the team to produce quality work
  • Defining and embedding project control and governance
  • Promoting the use of Agile methodologies with a flexible approach to accommodate team size, constraints, and maturity levels
  • Driving efficiency opportunities and support process improvements
  • Creating and nurturing a culture of commitment, collaboration, and information sharing among team members
  • Acting as a mentor to balance the application of the framework with team constraints and maturity levels
  • Ensuring minimal touch to structure team activities while maintaining commitment from developers and team members to keep their work updated
  • Helping manage team bandwidth and align main priorities (large projects) without missing the needs for day-to-day support
  • Managing and coordinating teams spread across different geographical locations and cultural backgrounds, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

  

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

 

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Engineering, Science discipline or equivalent experience in Program management
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Experience in managing the complete lifecycle of a project with project teams of 5 to 25 people
  • Line management or team leader experience
  • Strong leadership and excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
  • Experience using Agile, Kanban or SAFe methodology for medium to large-sized projects with a flexible approach
  • Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
  • Excellent in creating and maintaining plans, including risks, actions, issues, and dependencies
  • Experience in defining and delivering benefits realization for projects and programs
  • Demonstrated strong ability to build lasting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions
  • Diplomatic ability to influence others and escalate adequately at all levels of the business
  • Excellent judgment, and analytical ability
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong experience with collaborative platforms
  • Knowledgeable about ERP, PLM & BI tools
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Experience of use of Oracle EBS, OAC, Agile PLM, Saleforce.com or Jira is preferred
