Location: LUX-IDent, Sauerlach, Germany
We are currently recruiting for a Product Development Engineer to join our LUX-IDent team in Sauerlach, Germany. You will be working in an international team developing our customer and application specific RFID inlays and labels in different frequency ranges.

As our Product Development Engineer, you will support LUX’s success by:
- Support sales in front of the customer with product definition
- Design of customized packaging of RFID inlays into Smart labels and other flexible RFID transponder products
- Manage engineering projects for the development of new products
- Support production team during ramp up of new products
- Scan the market for new materials and technologies
- Make the product greener by selecting and qualifying new base materials and manufacturing technologies
- Cooperating with development teams in the HID IDT Business Area
Your qualifications and experience include:
- Experience in managing small and mid-sized development projects for customer specific products
- Experience in customer communication
- General RFID knowledge about antenna technologies in LF, HF and UHF frequency bands
- Basic knowledge about HF and UHF transponder antenna design and applications
- Knowledge about label materials, material compatibility and compliance requirements
- Experience in product qualification
- Creating technical documentation
- Hands on mentality
- Love to work in a small group embedded into an international team
Work requirements:
- Fluent in German and English language, able to read datasheets and other technical documentation
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD LT, etc.
- Capable to take initiative and work autonomously
- Ability of international travelling to support customers
