As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in leading and scaling sales initiatives across both Public and Commercial sectors. Strong command of solution-based selling and a consultative sales approach, with the ability to identify customer needs and tailor biometric solutions that deliver tangible value.
- Industry Knowledge & Market Experience: Expertise in biometric identity, AI-driven fraud prevention, cybersecurity, or SaaS solutions. Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes, RFPs, and government contracting. Experience selling to C-level executives in financial services, fintech, retail, healthcare, and travel industries. Understanding of compliance regulations, security requirements, and evolving technology trends.
- Business Growth & Execution: Strong collaboration skills to align with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams. Ability to analyze sales performance, optimize pipelines, and forecast accurately. Ability to build and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders in government and enterprise markets.
- Channel and Partner Management: Identify, recruit, and manage regional channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and system integrators.
- Reporting & Performance Management: Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM. Provide timely reporting on KPIs including lead conversion, opportunity win rates, deal size, and partner contributions.
- Meet Performance Goals: Consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas, KPIs, and growth targets for the region. Maintain strong sales discipline and accountability.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Strong background in enterprise sales with a history of managing complex projects in Public and Commercial sectors.
- Deep expertise in biometric security and identity management.
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in biometric technology or related industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and opening new territories.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, government RFPs, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in complex, consultative solution selling to enterprise clients and government agencies.
- Track record of achieving quotas and expanding market share.
- Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills for high-value deals.
- Data-driven approach to sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment focused on innovation in biometric technology.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with customers, partners, and the sales team across the target region.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to communicate in 2 of the following languages French / Portuguese / Spanish / Italian both verbally and in writing.
