This hybrid role combines responsibilities from both Production Scheduling and Order Entry functions.
The Production Control & Order Entry Specialist will manage order processing and scheduling activities across EMEA and global regions, ensuring accurate data entry, efficient production planning, and timely shipment execution.
The role serves as a key interface between sales, customer service, procurement, production, and export teams, balancing customer requirements with inventory and production capabilities to maximize satisfaction and on-time delivery.

As our Production Control and Order Entry Specialist , you’ll support HID’s success by:
Order Entry
- Process all orders received into Esker for the NAM and EMEA regions, supporting other global regions as needed.
- Ensure customer/product information is accurately captured in Esker; report and resolve inconsistencies.
- Escalate booking holds to Customer Communications for resolution.
- Maintain high levels of order entry accuracy and data integrity.
- Collaborate with the production control team for data entry and scheduling tasks.
Production Control
- Own all scheduling activities within the business area order book.
- Lead periodic sales and customer service meetings to align inventory and production capacity with customer needs.
- Create and manage production and outbound shipping plans.
- Allocate products and schedule orders based on material availability and capacity.
- Maintain close communication with procurement, production, and fulfillment teams.
- Support revenue forecasting and communicate ship plans to commercial stakeholders.
- Attend and contribute to daily backlog review and BL meetings.
- Adjust ATP rules, lead times, and Oracle EBS settings to optimize scheduling.
- Follow up on aging orders and escalate as needed.
- Report on backlog and revenue plan vs. actuals.
Your Experience and Background include:
- Previous experience in customer service, order management, or production scheduling.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Oracle ERP and OCR tools (e.g., Esker) preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile PLM is a plus.
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Quick learner with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across functional teams.
