Sr. Financial Analyst
Job Summary
This position is responsible for the global transportation financial analysis for the Americas Residential Group of Assa Abloy, including the accounting, reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting. This includes providing effective accounting and financial leadership for the HHI business by cultivating a strong internal control environment, demonstrating superior financial acumen, establishing close working relationships with the operations partners, and effectively planning and prioritizing work to achieve commitments aligned with organizational goals.
There will be an emphasis on aligning and enhancing the existing financial processes and developing financial modeling tools. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with business partners and heads of the Business Unit functional areas, as well as participate in all operational rhythms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with the supply chain, logistics, and group leadership to provide insights and analysis on global transportation budget
- Ensure accurate and timely closing of monthly financial statements and provide understanding of major deviations from budget and forecast as related to global transportation.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of the freight accounts; ensure proper reserves are held and reconcile payments to reserves monthly.
- Ensure timely and accurate forecast projections and provide analysis of deviations from plan. Understand and communicate macroeconomic or business issues impacting the plan.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual SOX compliance documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate and prepare the annual operating plan for global transportation.
- Interface with other departments and provide data interpretation analysis and support as needed.
Education and Experience Profile
- 5-7 years finance or accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. MBA preferred. CPA preferred.
- SAP / QAD system experience preferred.

Work Environment:
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Pay Range: $81,802-$128,546.
This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
