ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems has introduced the ASSA ABLOY RT1000, delivering a robust, energy-efficient solution for external industrial openings where speed, reliability and security are essential.

Designed for fast-paced operations, the RT1000 offers rapid opening speeds of up to 1.75 m/s and smooth, controlled closing at up to 0.6 m/s. Its advanced RapidTech1000 operating system features a single-track spiral with high‑velocity gliders, ensuring stable, efficient door travel while minimising wear and maximising uptime. The integrated drive unit enables a compact, space‑saving installation, suitable for both new-build and retrofit projects.

The door’s 50 mm high‑density insulated panels, combined with side frame and lintel sealing, help reduce heat loss and support improved energy performance. Double‑glazed, burglar‑resistant polycarbonate vision panels enhance security and visibility, achieving RC2 burglar resistance in accordance with DIN TS 18194. With wind resistance up to Class 3 under EN 12424, the RT1000 is well suited to exposed external openings across a wide range of climate conditions.
