ASSA ABLOY Hispanic Latin America is a sub-group of ASSA ABLOY Americas Opening Solutions Division,  that is a trusted provider of safety and security for people, places and things, operating in the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America and the multilingual Caribbean islands.

Acquisitions are part of the key strategies to grow in the region, and the Integration Manager role is needed to accomplish a seamless integration of any recently-acquired company into the ASSA ABLOY Group.

This person will be responsible to plan and execute some preparation actions prior completing the acquisition transaction, and post-acquisition lead the integration requirements for Sales, Operations, financial and other administrative activities, allowing a smooth transition and successful integration of people and business processes to assure business goals are accomplished.

The integration manager will be the primary liaison between our ASSA ABLOY business executives and the new acquired entity.

This position requires strong project management skills, and proven record of managerial experience within our Group (Position only for internal candidates), and implies relocation to the country where the entity operates.

 

What you will be doing:


Have responsibility for the successful integration of  the specific acquisition assigned

Coordination of activities during pre-acquisition preparation

Support the relevant business unit leader with producing the pre-acquisition integration plan to sign-off with the Americas Leadership team

Establishment of the integration team, ensuring all work-streams have adequate resources, clear roles assigned and goals communicated

Work with functional area managers to align resources for the integration plans

Work closely with the Hispanic Latin America M&A and leadership teams to accomplish the acquisition business case deliverables

Provide support as required to present the business case through the internal ASSA ABLOY acquisition process

Chair all integration meetings, ensuring clear tasks and actions are assigned to the team

Ensure we are adhering to the overall integration plan, incorporating operations, shared services (IT & Finance), HR and commercial functions.

Work in partnership with the M&A team

Deliver other strategic projects as required by the business.

 

What we are looking for:

This position is open exclusively for internal ASSA ABLOY employees that have proven to engage with Group's  culture, vision and values.

Minimum 3 years of employment in ASSA ABLOY in Managerial positions and with at least 3 direct reports

Evidence of career progression, including a successful experiences in project management

Demonstrable track record of motivating and influencing multi-discipline teams

Fluent in Spanish and English languages is required

Availability to relocate to the region /Country of the acquisition target: Central / South America.

 

Education / Qualifications:

Business related degree

Experience in selling environment (when acquisition is primarily commercialization)

Experience in operations (when acquisition target is a manufacturing entity)
