During the 13th edition of the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is partnering with NOMAN Studio in a project where ten sliding doors play a leading role.

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems opens the door to new opportunities by partnering with fashion designer Selina Parr and set designer Lara Tolman of NOMAN studio, they have created a utopian world through installations and films, based in the combination of color and form.

The artists discovered the creative possibilities of automatic doors at the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems website. For aesthetic reasons they chose to use the - relatively small Besam ADS Frame sliding door systems in the project.

The installation consists of a steel frame with ten sliding doors, responding to the movement of the visitor. The doors have a design pattern where motion is abstracted. The opening and closing of the doors following the movement of the visitor result in a dance between installation and spectator.

NOMAN and ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems cordially invite everyone to visit the presentation "Dancing with doors" during the Dutch Design Week, taking place during Saturday, October 17 to Sunday, October 25 2015.
