Adam’s automatic door adventure

Adam Osuchowski has posted a lot of photos for the #doornerds competition. Find out what he likes best about working for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems and what inspires him the most.

Adam has an anniversary coming up – five years of working with ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Poland. He not only remembers the exact date he started, January 23, 2012, he also remembers his first assignment.

"My mentor Daniel Tokarski and I set off for the town Głogów to install a sliding door system," he says. "It was the ADS Slim Thermo 2P WM. I could not wait to start assembling the system and put in practice what I had learned. That was the start of my adventure with automatic doors, which continues to this day."

I always check to make sure our customers have the best solution for their particular situation

As a project manager within Automatic doors in Poland, Adam is responsible for creating orders, shipping, installations, and ultimately finding the best solutions for customers.

"I always check to make sure our customers have the best solution for their particular situation," he says. "Each installation of automatic doors is an interesting challenge for me, and another opportunity for me to show my skills and commitment to the work. Each time I learn and draw conclusions that help me better understand the needs of customers, and help me be a better project manager."

It is a great way to show how interesting our work is

Adam has been one of the most active participants in the #doornerds competition. Not only has he submitted a lot of photos, but to promote the competition he and his colleagues proudly wear #doornerds t-shirts at work. "I thought it was a really fun idea for a competition," he says. "It is a great way to show how interesting our work is and the kinds of products we can offer to potential customers. I also wanted to show how proud I am of our work and how much it inspires me."

Adam says that he likes working with the countless combinations of automatic doors, and he enjoys travelling around Poland for his work. But he says his biggest inspiration is the people. "The best part of my job is helping clients and colleagues," he says. "What makes ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems unique is the skill and commitment of our people. We are dedicated to finding the best solutions for our customers. For good service and expertise, there is no other choice."
